PULLING TOGETHER FOR BETTER HEARING & SPEECH!

Jet Pull is Jacksonville's first-ever airplane pull fundraiser, hosted by the Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center (JSHC). Teams of 20–25 people compete to pull a real aircraft across the tarmac as fast as possible — all while raising funds to provide speech, language, hearing, and literacy services to children and adults in Northeast Florida.  

Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Million Air Jacksonville at Cecil Airport, Jacksonville, Florida.  

All proceeds support the Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center, a nonprofit that has served the community for over 77 years. Funds raised help provide veterans' hearing and communication care, speech therapy for children and adults, hearing devices for seniors, and services for individuals who cannot afford care regardless of their financial circumstances.  

 The event anticipates 1,000+ enthusiastic participants and spectators, along with local media coverage.  

 Yes! Everyone is welcome to join the event. Advance registration is required for all attendees. Participants compete as part of registered teams, while spectators are welcome to attend. VIP area access is available for qualifying sponsors.

Anyone 16 years or older! We welcome corporate teams, first responders, military units, civic organizations, schools, healthcare partners, local businesses, and community groups. 

A standard Jet Pull team consists of 20–25 members. 

We request a minimum fundraising target of $2,500 per team. Every dollar counts toward breaking down barriers to communication care in our community.  

The Team Captain is the heart of the team! Responsibilities include: 

• Register the team online via GiveButter and customize the team's fundraising page 
• Make the first self-donation to lead by example 
• Recruit 20–25 team members — friends, coworkers, and family 
• Send weekly updates and celebrate top fundraisers 
• Finalize the roster and ensure all members have signed their event waivers one week before the event 
• Share arrival time, parking instructions, and dress code reminders the night before.

Yes! If you don't have a full team yet, you can still register and recruit teammates. You can also reach out to the JSHC team at development@shcjax.org for assistance connecting with other participants.

Once registered on GiveButter, you'll have a personal fundraising page you can customize and share with your network via email, text, and social media. Donors can give directly to your page online.  

Yes! The Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center is a registered nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Fund-A-Future sponsorships are 100% tax-deductible.  

The $2,500 team goal is a requirement to pull. Every dollar raised makes a real difference. We encourage all teams to do their best and celebrate every contribution. 

Absolutely! You can donate directly through the GiveButter platform to support any team or the overall event.  

Team t-shirts and athletic sneakers are highly encouraged. Comfortable athletic wear is ideal—you'll be pulling an aircraft! We also recommend bringing a small towel and a cap or hat for sun protection. Be sure to stop by our Hydration Zone throughout the event to stay refreshed. 

The event will feature: 

• Timed airplane pulls on the Cecil Airport tarmac 
• Live leaderboard and timing clock 
• Award ceremony with stage presentations 
• Food truck vendors with a variety of cuisines 
• Kid Zone activities 
• Healthy Hydration station  
• VIP viewing area for qualifying sponsors/donors 
• High-energy community atmosphere with 1,000+ attendees 

Yes! Food trucks will be on-site offering a variety of cuisine categories with exclusivity per category. A dedicated Hospitality Area and Hydration Station will also be available. 

Parking details will be shared with all registered participants prior to the event. Team Captains should pass parking instructions along to their team the evening before. 

Yes! Local media outlets are invited to cover the event. Television crews will have opportunities for live broadcasts, interviews, and dynamic video. Media newsrooms are also invited to form their own competing teams.

• Presenting Sponsor – $20,000 (Exclusive “Presented By” rights, aircraft branding, and more) 
• Leaderboard Sponsor – $10,000 (Exclusive logo on Timing Clock & Leaderboard) 
• VIP Viewing Area Sponsor – $10,000 (Branded VIP area with custom banners) 
• Awards Sponsor – $10,000 (Logo on awards, stage backdrop & recognition) 
• Equipment Sponsor – $7,500 (Company colors on pull rope & branded puller gloves) 
• Ground Crew Sponsor – $5,000 (Logo on volunteer t-shirts & check-in signage) 
• Chill Zone Sponsor – $5,000 (Exclusive Chill Zone & Hydration Station branding) 
• Hospitality Sponsor – $5,000 (Exclusive dining/snack area signage)

• Flight Path Sponsor – $2,500 (Company name on flight path signage & swag)

Note: All sponsorship benefits are subject to venue safety approval. 

All sponsors at the $7,500 level and above receive complimentary VIP area entry (up to 25 tickets), company logo on event swag, and logo placement on social media and the event website. Higher tiers include additional benefits such as complimentary pull teams, prominent booth space, and exclusive branding opportunities.

Yes! We are accepting food truck applications. To ensure profitability, we offer cuisine exclusivity — only one vendor per food category (e.g., one taco truck, one BBQ truck). Spots are first-come, first-served. 

•  Expected attendance: 1,000+ participants and spectators 
• Vendor fee: $200 flat registration fee 
• Donation: 10% of the event’s proceeds to benefit JSHC 
• Perk: Total category exclusivity — no competing with a similar truck
