Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center 75th Anniversary

Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center launched our 75th year of service to Jacksonville and Northeast Florida on April 19th!  JSHC began in 1949 as the Children’s Speech Correction Clinic serving just four patients. This past fiscal year we helped nearly 5,000 children and adults with speech and hearing challenges. We delivered over 10,000 speech therapies and provided 440 more hearing aids to those in need than the previous year.  Help us continue this vital service to the community!

We are planning a series of events, starting with our 75th Anniversary Gala, to both celebrate this amazing milestone and generate funds to provide more people with the gift of communication in the years ahead.

Join us as we honor our Heroes of Hearing & Speech at a Black & White themed gala at the Jessie Ball duPont Center on October 20th at 6pm. Celebrate in your best Black & White attire, formal wear optional! Special thanks to Gala Committee Chair: Sarah Rocco, Emcee: Katie Jeffries, Entertainment: Bold City Classics. We have sponsorships available as well as ticket options.  All proceeds raised will directly fund the mission of Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center: to provide the highest quality professional and compassionate care to all individuals in our community with speech, language or hearing disorders, regardless of ability to pay.
